Sandover
- Lithium Pegmatites
- Magmatic-Hydrothermal System (Pb-Ag)
- Sedimentary exhalative deposit; SEDEX
The Sandover Project is located 62 miles north-east of Alice Springs comprising approximately 3,088 mi2 of exploration license area. The tenements are within the Aileron Province in the Arunta Inlier which forms an extensive Proterozoic terrain. The province is highly prospective for various mineral systems, host to several mineral systems proximate to the Sandover Project; the Mount Peake vanadium-iron-titanium project, the Nolans Bore rare earth elements-phosphate-uranium deposits and the Molyhil tungsten-molybdenum project. The area is also considered prospective to host lithium-bearing pegmatites and sediment-hosted copper and iron oxide copper gold (IOCG) deposits following recent work by the NT Geological Survey.
In March 2023, EARTH AI entered into an Exploration Alliance Agreement with Tivan Limited to deploy Earth AI’s innovative AI targeting platform and manage exploration activities for the Sandover Project.
A validation campaign of targets generated by Earth AI’s machine learning software saw the discovery of the high-grade lead-silver at the Mt. Byrne prospect with surface samples returning up to 24% lead and up to 469 g/ton silver. Mineralization at the Mt Byrne Pb-Ag prospect is hosted by structurally controlled hydrothermal quartz veining. This surface expression has been remobilized from a deeper mineral source, with drilling programs and geophysical surveys planned to identify the source.
