- Cu-Au-Mo porphyry
- Granite intrusion-related/magmatic-hydrothermal system
The Willow Glen project is located within the Guyra region of New South Wales (NSW), roughly 248 miles north of Sydney. The project area is situated within the New England Orogen (NEO), a package of Mesozoic-aged rocks along the eastern margin of continental Australia. The NEO represents a complex history of supra subduction zones and magmatic activity that is prospective for the formation of metal deposits, although it remains largely unexplored. Exploration of the tenement area during the 1980s by Freeport Minerals/Tinga Holdings Pty Ltd identified rock chip values at 1.6 g/t Au, 53 g/t Ag, 2,300 ppm Cu, and 3,200 ppm Pb within the Willow Glen area. White Rock Minerals in 2010 discovered anomalous Cu values of +400 ppm coinciding with quartz-sericite-pyrite alteration in sulphide bearing rocks.
Since acquiring the project in May 2021, Earth AI intersected significant values of Mo, Cu, and Au in its maiden drill campaign. These drill holes were planned, under a validation campaign of AI targets generated by Earth AI's proprietary AI machine learning software.
